I'm a biology major/pre-med. I co-founded the Vumilia Project, and a non-profit in Kenya called Marafiki Community International. I've been to Kenya a couple of times; lived in an internal refugee camp for an entire week and have eaten in some of the worst slums you could think of . . . and somehow I've never been sick. Weird, go figure. Also, I'm half-Persian, and half-Colombian, which means I am spoiled with ridiculously good food. I cook well.
